Stanton College PreparatoryHonored by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School in 1987, 2018, and 2024. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report for nearly two decades as the #1 Duval County public high school — and the only one included amongst the publication's Top 100 nationwide. Brilliant faculty. Dedicated administration. Motivated students.
Historically, Stanton has achieved its success backed only through annual funding allocated by Duval County Public Schools. Additional financial support will compound this success. The Foundation's mission is to underwrite Stanton's academic, capital improvement, athletic, arts, and extracurricular initiatives that are not included in the school district's budget.

The Foundation's Board of Directors will meet regularly and work closely with school leadership and faculty to consider and prioritize needs fulfilled by your donations. Our aim is to fund projects benefitting as many Blue Devils as possible, and having a lasting impact on the school. In the future, we hope to grow the Foundation's corpus enough to expand our activities to faculty grants, college scholarships, and other programs. Read more about our launch year initiatives below.
Teachers who guide beautiful minds deserve a beautiful space! As a pilot project in Summer 2026, the Foundation secured $15K in seed funding and refurbished Stanton's faculty lounge. The objective was to create an inviting space in which our teachers could recharge between classes, work quietly, or hold department meetings. Brand new appliances, upgraded cabinets in 'Blue Devil Blue', warm walnut finishes, comfortable lounge seating, sound dampening decorative felt wall panels, and a trio of work stations surprised our faculty on their first day back for the 2026-2027 academic year.
See our faculty's reactions →Stanton is grateful Duval County Public Schools will install new overhead lighting, theater lighting, and an LED digital backdrop system in our auditorium Fall 2026. The Foundation hopes to round out auditorium improvements in two phases. Phase I: Replace the 30+ year old, difficult-to-operate or non-functional blinds on all auditorium windows with motorized blackout rolling shades. Phase II: Install telescoping theater seating to permit easier conversion of the auditorium to a performance space, and allow audience members better lines of sight. Stanton uses its auditorium space for so many functions — theater productions, Multicultural Club extravaganzas, band and choral concerts, club meetings, Miss Stanton pageants, extra classroom space, and AP/IB testing. Many hours and much labor is now spent converting the space from one use to another — and being able to quickly convert the auditorium would be a game changer for our Blue Devils.
Our Blue Devils are smart, but they are also strong! Stanton has increased its dominance in local high school athletics over the years. During 2025-2026, Stanton won 8 DCPS District Championships — boys soccer, girls soccer, boys tennis, girls tennis, boys swimming, girls swimming, girls golf, and bowling — more than any other DCPS public high school. As we have increased our athletic prowess, however, we need to increase resources available to the great number of athletes that we now coach on campus. Plans as to athletic program enhancements will be discussed this year with school leadership, Stanton's Athletic Director, and the Stanton Athletic Boosters.
